I think this traditional Jewish tale offers a particularly important message for children and parents today,whose lives are often full of blessings,but also complications.In this story,a prince who has everything he could possibly want suddenly becomes overwhelmed,strips naked,and believes that he is a rooster.It is,in fact,abundance that drives the prince mad and changes him into a bird.And it is a wise man,willing to become a rooster himself,who brings the prince back.This is a great book for any reader,but it's especially perfect for kids who don't know just how lucky they are.
